Ben Houle, PE
President
Ben has over 20 years of experience in the management of civil engineering projects. His experience includes not only the engineering, but also site selection assistance, due diligence, zoning and variance assistance, permit processing and assistance, bid assistance and construction administration support. From concept to construction to completion, he has worked on public and private projects from a few thousand dollars to nearly half a billion dollar projects in Indiana and across the country. Ben lives in South Broad Ripple with his three kids and wife, Sonja. If he’s not working, he’s probably working – renovating smaller & older neighborhood homes to keep the variation and vibrancy alive.

Keith Cruz
Vice President, Owner
Keith has more than 21 years of experience designing, surveying, and construction staking on a wide variety of civil engineering projects. His experience includes site development, parks and greenways design, CAD management/ standardization, surveying, and railing fabrication. He has worked on public and private projects in Indiana and surrounding states. He is detail oriented, thorough, and responsive. Keith spends his free time sewing, canoeing and fishing local Indy rivers with his daughter, and volunteering with Friends of the White River.

Leslie Steinert, MBA
Vice President, Owner
Leslie has more than 30 years of experience as a project manager for various facets of real estate development. Her expertise includes managing the entitlement process from land acquisition through closing and building permits. She has managed more than 100 commercial projects through the entitlement process and has conducted more than 1,600 site visits for transactions. Part of her contributions to LandWorx includes overseeing finances, human resources and marketing processes. Leslie spends her free time with her family at soccer fields and ice rinks watching her granddaughters’ compete throughout the Midwest. Leslie is also supports her local animal shelter through volunteer work. She lives with her husband and seven rescue cats in Kansas.

Engineer
Evan joined us from a Mechanical Engineering position for a career change – both for the gratification of seeing his designs come to life and to embrace and grow the unique LandWorx culture. Evan bikes nearly everywhere and wrenches part time at BGI when not designing!

Chris Laystrom, PE
Engineer
Chris was the first employee at LandWorx and joined us part time because he missed the design process. He is an experienced designer and project manager with a passion for deciphering and problem-solving complicated site drainage projects. Chris & his wife Marla have three boys and live in Brownsburg.

Logan Cruz
CAD Designer
Logan joined us part time while in school and has quickly become an indispensable member of the team. Logan brings a positive attitude and a very short learning curve to LandWorx with Civil 3d grading and site layouts.

Josh Hogan
PE
Josh Hogan joined LandWorx in January of 2024 as a Senior Project Manager. Josh comes to LandWorx with more than 15 years of land development, civil site engineering, and traffic engineering experience. His expertise in land development services include traffic analysis, conceptual layouts, civil site construction plans, zoning assistance, drainage design and analysis, floodplain management consulting, municipal plan reviews and utility design and coordination. Josh’s management of land development projects includes many aspects of civil site engineering on projects ranging in size from less than an acre up to hundreds of acres as well as management of engineering projects to ensure quality plans and specifications are delivered to our clients within the projects’ scopes. Josh earned his Indiana Professional Engineer License in 2018 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Keri Mordue VanVlymen
Keri has more than 15 years of experience in landscape design, planning, and public engagement. Her experience includes parks master planning, urban trail design, and environmental graphics, and has encompassed municipal projects, parks, campuses, and historic sites. Keri is a newly minted empty-nester now that her son attends Purdue University, so she spoils her dog instead. She enjoys camping, hiking, cycling, and experimenting with growing new plants both indoors and outdoors.
