Ben Houle, PE


Ben has over 20 years of experience in the management of civil engineering projects. His experience includes not only the engineering, but also site selection assistance, due diligence, zoning and variance assistance, permit processing and assistance, bid assistance and construction administration support. From concept to construction to completion, he has worked on public and private projects from a few thousand dollars to nearly half a billion dollar projects in Indiana and across the country. Ben lives in South Broad Ripple with his three kids and wife, Sonja. If he’s not working, he’s probably working – renovating smaller & older neighborhood homes to keep the variation and vibrancy alive.


Keith Cruz


Keith has more than 19 years of experience as a designer for civil engineering projects. His experience includes site development, parks and greenways design, CAD management, surveying and drafting. He has worked on public and private projects in Indiana and surrounding states. He is detail oriented, thorough, and responsive. Keith spends his free time canoeing local Indy rivers with his daughter and hiking the banks of Fall Creek removing TONSof invasives!



Leslie Steinert, MBA


Leslie has more than 25 years of experience as a project manager for various facets of real estate development. Her expertise includes managing the entitlement project from land acquisition, through closing and building permits. She has managed more than 75 commercial projects through the entitlement process and has conducted more than 1,600 site visits for transactions. She tolerates her husband’s race car habit and lives with her five cats – including the notorius L’il Pud (a.k.a. – The Terrorist).


Evan West, EIT 


Evan joined us from a Mechanical Engineering position for a career  change – both for the gratification of seeing his designs come to life and  to  embrace and grow the unique LandWorx culture. Evan bikes nearly  everywhere and wrenches part time at BGI when not designing!


Kelly Canter, PE

Project Manager

Kelly is an experienced site-civil engineer who was sick of the grind associated with the typical corporate structure. Here she gets the chance to spread her wings AND balance her life. Kelly & her fiancee Zach live in Franklin where Zach’s family owns the best Italian restaurant in the area – The Twisted Sicilian!

Chris Lewis 

CAD Designer 

Chris joins us with a degree in Design Technology from Ivy Tech and some  great experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. In his spare time, Chris stays  busy with his girlfriend, his family, and his new puppy Riley!


Chris Laystrom, PE


Chris was the first employee at LandWorx and joined us part time because he missed the design process. He is an experienced designer and project manager with a passion for deciphering and problem-solving complicated site drainage projects. Chris & his wife Marla have three boys and live in Brownsburg.
